Since 1996, I have been editing this monthly newsletter, a digest of news on ocean research and conservation. It is produced by
SeaWeb, a non-governmental organization dedicated to raising media and public awareness of ocean issues.
Ocean Update is available free of charge in print form, via e-mail, or by clicking on the above banner. Its primary audience is journalists; its primary goal is to provide food for thought for articles and news items. But it is also widely read by scientists, members of the environmental community, and all those interested in marine conservation.
